Mid-Autumn Festival, named "Zhongqiu Jie" in Chinese, is also called "Moon Festival" or "Moon Cake Festival". It is the second most important festival in China after the Chinese New Year. Besides China, this festival is also celebrated in many other Asian countries, such as Vietnam, Singapore, Japan and Korea. People celebrate this holiday by gathering with their families, eating traditional food moon cakes, lighting lanterns and viewing the moon.
